Primary care
Two clinics — Fountain Hills and Gilbert — with the hours, the direct numbers, and how to get an appointment. If you are deciding between a clinic and an emergency room tonight, start with the guide.
What primary care is actually for
An emergency room is about the next hour. Primary care is about the next ten years, and it works mostly by somebody knowing what your numbers did last time.
That is the part that does not fit in a single visit. A blood pressure reading on its own is a number. Three of them over eighteen months is a direction, and a direction is the thing that changes what anyone should do about it. The same is true of a weight that has drifted, a cough that keeps coming back in the same month every year, a medication that worked and then quietly stopped.
None of that is dramatic, and it is the reason the relationship matters more than any individual appointment. A clinic that has seen you before starts the visit somewhere further along.
Where primary care happens in our network
Fountain Hills Medical Center — Primary Care Clinic
9700 N Saguaro Blvd, Suite 100, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268
Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Closed Saturday and Sunday
Shares an address with the Fountain Hills Emergency Room, and is a separate front door with separate hours and its own number. One address, two very different doors — the number below is the clinic's, not the emergency room's.
Mercy Grace Pediatrics & Primary Care
1720 E Boston St, Gilbert, AZ 85295
Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM · Friday 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Closed Saturday and Sunday
Built for children, and it sees adults as well.
How to get an appointment
By phone. Call the clinic directly on the number above — each clinic answers its own line, and the hub does not route your call through a switchboard first.
There is no online self-scheduler. No form on this site books you a slot. An appointment request can also be made through the patient portal, which is a request rather than a booking — somebody gets back to you.
Appointments →Children
Mercy Grace Pediatrics & Primary Care in Gilbert is built for children specifically — which is a different thing from a clinic that also sees them.
The point of a pediatric practice rather than a walk-in is that somebody knows your child: what their growth curve looks like, when the last ear infection was, that this is the third sore throat since school started. None of those facts are available to a stranger.
And for anything that is not a clinic question: we are not a pediatric emergency room, and we treat children every day. Our emergency rooms assess and stabilise a child and arrange the transfer where a specialist level of paediatric care is needed.
If it will not wait
Clinic hours are clinic hours, and bodies do not keep to them. If something is sudden, severe, or getting worse while you watch it, both of our emergency rooms are open every hour of every day, walk-in, with CT, X-ray and a full laboratory in the building.
If you are unsure which you need, come in — no list is exhaustive and you are not expected to diagnose yourself. Being assessed and sent home reassured is a good outcome.
Emergency care →What a clinic visit costs
A clinic visit bills at office-visit rates rather than emergency rates. That difference is real and it is worth knowing before you choose a door — but it is not a reason to sit at home with something that frightens you.
If cost is the obstacle, say so when you call.
What each clinic actually offers
SECTION PENDING CONTENT FROM THE PRACTICE — the per-clinic list of screenings, in-building testing, immunisations, school and sports physicals, behavioural health and specialist referrals is being confirmed. Deliberately empty rather than filled with plausible text.
